6. You are worried
Maybe something went wrong during the day or you are worried about something that will happen the following day, and when you lay down in bed that is all you can think about. This sort of obsession is bound to keep you awake. A good trick to fight this is to change your surroundings – go to another area of the house. Just like you do not want to associate your bed with work, you also do not want to associate it with anxious thoughts.
