30-year-old Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been very outspoken lately. Out in London to promote his self-titled documentary that premiered last Monday, Ronaldo recorded an interview for ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show during which he alluded to retirement.

Retiring with dignity

Ronaldo, who was named Real Madrid’s all-time leading goalscorer, said he wanted to play for another 6 or 7 seasons and hoped to end his career at the highest level. He added that he wanted to retire “with dignity”, not playing in the US, Qatar or Dubai.

“In my mind I want to finish at the top level. I want to finish with dignity. A good club. That doesn’t mean to go to USA, Qatar or Dubai is not good but I don’t see myself [going]. I am very comfortable at Real Madrid. I feel happy,” the Portuguese footballer said.

Cristiano Ronaldo has three years left on his contract with Real Madrid, where he has been playing since 2009.

Preparing to live like a king

After his football career ends, Ronaldo would like to enjoy life with his friends and family.

“I plan to live like a king with my family and friends,” he admitted to Portuguese magazine Caras.

From the looks of it, he has already started preparing for the royal lifestyle he would like to live. The striker purchased a $20 million Gulfstream G200 business jet. The luxury twin-engined aircraft can carry between 8 and 10 passengers and has most of the options you can find in a private jet (wardrobes, audio/visual equipment, internet access and a small kitchen).
