Grammy award winning R&B singer Usher recently turned 37. A few days ago, he was at the White House to perform in a filmed concert series produced by PBS called In Performance at the White House. The series also features famous artists such as Queen Latifah, Smokey Robinson and Esperanza Spalding.

Visibly starstruck

As Usher, his wife Grace Miguel and the presidential couple were having an impromptu conversation in the Oval Office, the singer was surprised with a cupcake and an Obamaesque rendition of “Happy birthday”. Yes, the Obamas sang for Usher. The artist looked so starstruck in the video that he turned to whoever was filming the moment and said: “You gettin’ this?”
