Nigerian Telecom operator Glo is promoting “Dance with Peter”, a competition featuring P-Square’s half, Peter Okoye. The competition aims to “redefine dance and its competitiveness” in the continent. Why are we not surprised to see Peter Okoye? If you remember well, he loves dancing.
The rules of engagement
The 13-week game is open to solos, duets, and groups of four dancers. Organizers will spend the first 2 weeks auditioning candidates, and the remaining 10 weeks shortlisting candidates. Auditions will take place in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Benin City, Abuja and Accra (Ghana). The show will be hosted by Ehis Okoegule of MTV Base, and participants will have the chance to dance in front of Peter, Kaffy and DONFlexx, who will appear as judges.

Eyes on the prize
Winners will not only go through a rigorous process of training coaching and mentoring in dance, but Glo will also offer them amazing prizes. The winner gets a brand new Toyota RAV 4, N 3 million in cash and the opportunity to feature in P-Square’s next music video. The two runners-up will respectively drive home a Honda Civic car with N 2 million, and a Kia Rio car with N 1 million. They will also feature in a top Glo ambassador’s music videos. “Dance with Peter” will be aired on Afrimagic, AIT in Nigeria, TV3 in Ghana and ORTV. Registration for the competition started and it is open to all Glo subscribers in Nigeria and in Ghana.
