2. Emo clothing in Russia
If you are not a big fan of the Emo lifestyle, you can move to Russia. In 2008, Russian politicians banned this fashion because is was considered a “national threat to stability”. Politicians were worried that this lifestyle was the root of a high suicide rate among the teens. The Emo lifestyle has been associated with a stereotype that includes being particularly emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted. It has also been linked to stereotypes like depression, self-injury, and suicide.
