Minutes after beating Justin Galtin in the 200m final of the World Athletic Championships, Usain Bolt gave us a big scare. As Bolt was celebrating with fans, a cameraman who was filming him lost control of his scooter and crashed into the champion.
A Frightening Moment
Bolt had no idea the camera man was behind him. As he was hit, the champion lost balance and fell. He even held his million dollar ankle. Luckily, he quickly got up and made sure the cameraman was fine. None of them appeared badly injured by the incident though the cameraman looked a little shook. Bolt suffered minor cuts.
“The rumor I’m trying to start right now is that Justin Gatlin paid him off, so that’s what I’m going with,” Bolt jokingly said, with Gatlin sitting next to him.

After beating Justin Gatlin in the 100 meters race, Bolt beat Gatlin a second time to win the 200 meters race. Justin Gatlin could not keep up with Usain Bolt in the 200m final in Beijing. Bolt was far ahead of his contenders and jabbed his thumbs at his chest as he crossed the finish line. He recorded the fastest performance in the world this year with 19.55 seconds. Bolt, who will compete for his 3rd race of the championship in the 4x100m relay, said: “It means a lot to me.”
