When you picture a golden retriever, you imagine a majestic gold-tinted dog, running through meadows of long green grass, sniffling for small creatures, and panting with an adorable smile. This depiction makes the golden retriever one of the most lovable dogs in the world… But not all golden retrievers are like this.
Meet Fritz
Fritz lives in California in the United States. It loves wearing bandanas on sunny days, and, of course, eating human food. Unfortunately, Fritz has a problem.

Fritz can’t catch for all he’s worth
It might be general clumsiness, depth perception, or bad skills, but Fritz couldn’t catch a meatball if it tried. Evan Ball, the pet’s owner, decided that the hilarity should be documented for all to see.“We’ve compiled some of the highs and lows of Fritz’s quest to learn how to catch food”, Ball writes.
Human food can be dangerous for dogs. Luckily, Ball assured that Fritz isn’t fed everything he’s thrown. “I actually intercept most of the food and give him just a little for his efforts. Plus, he only gets a food tossed to him about once a week”, Ball said.
