Wanting to make a difference, he decided to grow out his hair so that he could donate it to a child with hair loss from cancer.<\/p>\n<h2>An Amazing Initiative<\/h2>\n<p>Christian\u2019s mother, Deeanna, says that he took this decision completely on his own. He did his own research to find out how he could help. He says that they teased him and tried to call him a girl. Even coaches and teachers tried to get him to cut his hair. Now at eight years old, Christian finally cut his hair into four 10-inch ponytails. He then donated it to the <em>Children With Hair Loss<\/em> charity. This nonprofit charity provides a free hair piece every year to children who have medically related hair loss issues, such as cancer patients or burn victims.
