The Tanzanian singer and dancer put the Tanzanian music industry on the international map. A few days ago, he<span class=\"s1\">\u00a0was voted<a href=\"https:\/\/www.afrizap.com\/en\/ema-2015\"> <i>Best African Act<\/i> at the\u00a0<\/a><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.afrizap.com\/en\/ema-2015\">MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA)\u00a02015<\/a><b>, <\/b>beating\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\">South African rapper AKA, Nigerian musicians Davido and Yemi Alade, and Ivorian MC DJ Arafat. Today, as he was going head to head against Indian actress-singer Priyanka Chopra, who was voted\u00a0<i>Best India Act<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0for <i>My City,<\/i>\u00a0t<\/span><span class=\"s1\">he Tanzanian star\u00a0won a second award.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Best Worldwide Act<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Diamond Platnumz won the <em>Best Worldwide Act: Africa\/India<\/em> at the MTV Europe Music Awards thanks to his hard work and his adorable fans who voted online.
