The Tanzanian star is now going head to head against actress-singer Priyanka Chopra, who has been voted <em>Best India Act<\/em>, in the <em>Best Worldwide Act: Africa\/India<\/em>\u00a0category. Fans can vote for the final winner in the category on the <a href=\"https:\/\/base.mtvema.com\/vote#cat=worldwide-act-africa-india\">MTV website.<\/a>\u00a0Diamond Platnumz expressed his gratitude on his Facebook page:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Only God knows how Grateful i am&#8230; i realy wanna thank @MtvEma for this, without forgeting all Media, My fellow Artist and my all Loyal fans Around the World for the Votes&#8230;. Nominees for this year\u2019s ceremony include celebrities such as Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj.<\/p>\n<figure
