She has felt like this for years and was finally ready to share it with the world. She continued to share her journey on the television series “I am Cait” and was named one of Glamour’s Women of the Year.

2. Madonna forces a kiss on Drake

Drake was performing his track “Madonna” at Coachella 2015 when Madonna herself joined him on stage. She then planted a kiss on him, and he did not seem to like it. He desperately flailed his arms and wiped his mouth after. Drake claims it was because of the lipstick she was wearing.

3. Nicki Minaj calling out Miley Cyrus

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards started out with controversy as Nicki Minaj expressed her discontent with her video not being nominated for the top award and then engaged in a little Twitter spat with Taylor Swift. The two realized it was a misunderstanding and quickly made up. But then Miley Cyrus shared her thoughts on the matter, saying that Minaj made the entire thing about her and started a pop star war. No way was Minaj letting that slide. Right after she collected an award, she called the starlet out and created one of the best memes of the year.

4. Everything Donald Trump has said

Donald Trump announced that he was running for president of the United States and proceeded to run one of the strangest campaigns in history, in which he has managed to offend Mexicans, women, war heroes, disabled people, and Muslims. And he has said several bizarre things. But he is still the frontrunner for the Republican party, so we have more craziness to look forward to next year.

5. Kanye for president?

Speaking of bizarre presidential candidates – at the MTV VMAs, rapper Kanye West made an extremely long and weird speech where he announced that he will run for president in 2020. West is known for saying odd things, so no one knew whether or not he was being serious. Just in case, President Obama offered him some political tips.

6. Drake’s dancing in the “Hotline Bling” music video

Drake unveiled his music video for “Hotline Bling” and the internet could not handle it. His so-called “dad dancing” inspired a hilarious meme: users would set his dance moves to another song and he would always be on beat. Drake has been a good sport about it and even shared one of them.

7. Zayn Malik leaving One Direction

The hearts of teenage girls broke everywhere when a member of the popular boy band One Direction announced he was leaving. Beloved member Zayn Malik said he was leaving the band to seek out a normal life outside of fame, but then signed a solo record deal with RCA records. Plus, he broke off his engagement and did a lot of odd things to his hair. It was a big year for Malik.

8. Michelle Obama dancing with Ellen

First lady Michelle Obama stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about the fifth anniversary of her “Let’s Move!” health campaign. DeGeneres challenged her to a dance off, and the two faced off while dancing to “Uptown Funk”.

9. Iggy Azalea’s rapping

A vine video of a live performance by rapper Iggy Azalea went viral for all the wrong reasons. No one was able to understand whatAzalea was saying; it sounded like complete nonsense. Users were sharing it as proof that she cannot rap. As if this was not bad enough, in December 2014 another video had surfaced of Azalea freestyling on a radio show. Social media users were not impressed and created a meme mocking her attempt.

10. The Fashion Police vs. Zendaya’s dreadlocks

The Fashion Police, a show that aired on E! network, had a raunchy sense of humor. But viewers turned on the show when Giuliana Rancic commented on Zendaya’s 2015 Oscar look, specifically her hairstyle. Rancic said that Zendaya looked like “she smells like patchouli oil.” Zendaya fired back and said the comments were stereotypical and offensive.

11. Adele’s comeback

This year marked the return of Adele, who had not released any music since 2012. She made her come back with very little promotion, and clearly did not need it. Her single “Hello” was downloaded a record 1.11 million times its first week in the U.S. Music magazine Billboard reported this was the first time a song reached more than a million downloads in one week. The single also became Adele’s first song to debut at number 1 on the charts.

12. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West name their son

The internet was curious to see what unique name “Kimye” would give their son, considering they named their daughter North West. They did not disappoint and named him Saint West. They have not yet revealed the reasoning behind the name or any picture of him. It will all likely be told in a magazine cover and a three-hour television special.

13. Someone tried to steal Serena Williams’ phone…

…and managed to come out alive. When someone grabbed Serena Williams’ phone, her “superhero sense” kicked in and she chased him down.

“Superhero? Maybe? Or HELL YEA!! I’ve got the speed the jumps, the power, the body, the seduction, the sex appeal, the strength, the leadership and yet the calm to weather the storm.Always listen to your superhero inner voice,” Williams said.

14. Bill Cosby’s victims speak out

Bill Cosby is facing multiple accusations of sexual assault that go back as far as the 1960s. The mainstream media focused its attention on the accusations this year, and the victims finally got to speak and have their voices heard. It came to light that Cosby had admitted to drugging women in the past. Cosby’s upcoming projects were cancelled and he had honorary degrees revoked from several universities.
