Fortune Magazine’s 2015 African Billionaires list is out. This year, the ranking counts 29 Africans whose net worth is higher than 1 billion dollars. Without any surprise, nationals of only 9 out of the 56 African countries figure in the list, with Egyptians leading the way. There are two notable entries in this exclusive club: Tanzanian Mohammed Dewji, who is the youngest African billionaire at age 39. The second personality to mention is Femi Otedola, who made a big comeback after a 5-year hiatus.

29. Rostam Azizi, $1 billion

He is Tanzania’s second richest man. He is well established in the telecoms sector, owning 35% of Vodafone Tanzania. Rostam also owns assets in the mining sector.
